Cobb Caregiver indicted after cops say he killed 91-year-old man

A caregiver at an East Cobb assisted-living facility has been indicted on felony murder charges after police say he beat a 91-year-old patient to death.

The Cobb County grand jury made the decision on Thursday to move along the case of Landon Jean Pierre Terrel, court documents show.

According to a warrant, Terrel — who stands 6 feet and 3 inches tall, weighing 369 pounds  — beat Adam Neil Bennett inside the Sunrise at Cobb facility on Johnson Ferry Road until he broke the elderly man’s ribs, lacerated his kidney and punctured a lung. Continue Reading on
