Advocacy Alert Phone Tree
We are now recruiting for the CO-AGE Advocacy Alert Phone Tree
Advocacy Alert phone tree is another way GCoA gets the word out about important issues that need immediate attention. If you choose to be apart of the phone tree there will be times when you may be called upon to contact a set of legislators by phone to get the issues that are important to Georgia's Aging brought to the forefront. Legislative Bills are won or lost by interest and participation. Therefore participation is of utmost importance. If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing join us! Read on to find out more.

This year's top tier will consist of phone calls made by the Georgia Council on Aging. To receive advocacy alerts during the General Assembly, please contact us by phone or email and we can fax or mail you a form today.

CO-AGE sends out a few alerts each legislative session. Those receiving advocacy alerts phone calls from GCoA will be responsible for passing the message along to another tier of advocates. Recipients of the phone alerts will need to designate a backup person with access to their account to handle alerts in their absence. Individuals who do not wish to pass along alerts ("receive only") should plainly check that option when they sign up.

If you already know which advocates you wish to contact, please provide a listing so that expectations will be clear and duplications will be prevented. Please report any problems within the alert system to the Georgia Council on Aging, (404) 657 - 5343.
