GEORGIA COUNCIL ON AGING
|
|
meeting notice
Beautiful fall weather continues, the election season is over,
and you are probably gearing up for the upcoming holidays.
Before you get too involved in all of the holiday
festivities, please take a moment to mark your calendar for
the first
CO-AGE meeting of 2007 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This meeting we will strategize about our issues for the upcoming legislative session. Effectively advocating for the CO-AGE priorities that we selected in July (click here for a review of the priorities) will be prominently featured on the agenda. We hope that you will be able to attend. We appreciate the Atlanta Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging for hosting this meeting. Several local legislators have also been invited. A click here for a tentative agenda.
Also it is Senior Issues Newsletter Subscription time. We suggest you to renew you subscription now so you won't miss a single issue. The newsletter will keep you informed weekly about the progress of CO-AGE priorities as well as other senior issues while the legislature is in session and is published monthly when the session is over.
We wish you a relaxing holiday season, plan to see you in
Morrow on January 4 and look forward to partnering with you
in 2007 to effectively advocate for Georgia's seniors.
Thanks for all your hard work!
Note: GCoA phones will be unattended on the day of the meeting.
