co-age

     By participation in the Coalition of Advocates for Georgia's Elderly (CO-AGE), the priorities of thousands of older Georgians are represented. Those who participate are expected to:

1. attend quarterly meetings (usually the second

     Thursday of the first month in each
    quarter);
2. participate in the process of reaching
     consensus regarding state legislative
     priorities;
3. educate and involve local constituencies in
    advocating for these issues affecting the
    elderly (includes but is not limited to organizing
    responses to the alert tree); and
4. where possible, assist with costs of CO-AGE

activities through voluntary contributions and in-kind
   assistance such as meeting space, printing, mailing,
   and copying.

When enrolling as a representative of an organization, participant agrees to organizational support by participating in the Coalition; permitting the use of the organization's name on CO-AGE publications; and endorsing Coalition priorities
