GCoA asks you to take the CO-AGE Participant Challenge Now is a good time to identify opportunities as a CO-AGE participant. Spend a few minutes review the following suggestions and see how you can "plug in." Then click on the link to all the actives you commit to undertake. Take the CO-AGE participant challenge and check them all!

The activities to choose from are:

• Complete and return the annual CO-AGE Participation Agreement (contributions strictly voluntary)

• Attend CO-AGE Quarterly Meetings

• Tell any potential advocates about CO-AGE

• Submit an idea for consideration at the July priority setting meeting.

• Serve on a CO-AGE priority work group

• Subscribe to the Senior Issues Newsletter

• Participate in a meeting where legislators are invited to discuss issues of concern to senior, such as a legislative breakfast

• Contact your State Senator or Representative about CO-AGE priorities.

• Write a letter to the editor or contact the media concerning senior issues.

• Attend committee hearings or meetings about legislation or appropriations.

• Attend a DHR or DCH budget forum in your area
