Please join us April 23 in Albany, Georgia at the First United Methodist Church to learn how our CO-AGE priorities have fared during the 2009 legislative session and to hear about advocacy efforts from other CO-AGE participants.  We will also discuss our Call for Issues and plans for our priorities setting meeting that will be held on July 9th in Atlanta. 

For those persons desiring hotel accommodations for the night of April 22, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn.  Call 229/888-1590 (or go to:  www.hiltongardeninn.com) and ask for the special CO-AGE rate of $109. March 31 is the deadline to get this special rate! 

Coffee and refreshments will be provided during registration.  Lunch is on your own, but there are plenty of fast food restaurants nearby. 

The registration fee is $15.00 payable to the Georgia Council on Aging.  Please RSVP by returning the registration form and your registration fee by April 15.

Directions to First United Methodist Church


Traveling South on I-75:  
Take I-75 South to the GA-300/GA-FLA PKWY exit (99) towards Albany. 
Turn right onto GA-300S. 
Take the US-82 W/US-19 N/GA-520 W/GA-3 N ramp. 
Turn right onto US-19. 
Exit at Jefferson Street. 
Travel south on Jefferson Street

     —pass Phoebe Putney Hospital—

      until you cross the railroad tracks and intersect with Flint Avenue. 
Turn left at traffic light on to Flint Avenue, and
the church will be on your immediate left.


Traveling North on I-75:
 
Take I-75 North to US-82 exit (62) towards US 319/Tifton/Sylvester.  Merge. 
Turn left onto US-82 W. 
Take the US-82 W ramp. 
Merge onto US-82 W. 
Take the US-82 W/US-19 N/GA-520 W/GA-3 N ramp. 
Merge onto US-19 N. 
Exit at Jefferson Street.
